A trained Healkin nurse changes and cares for a colostomy bag at home, keeping the stoma and surrounding skin clean and healthy.
Who needs this
People living with a colostomy who need help changing the bag and caring for the stoma, or who want a nurse to do it hygienically. Always based on medical advice.
What to expect during the visit
The nurse removes the old bag, cleans the stoma and skin, checks for any redness or irritation, and fits a fresh bag correctly. You or a family member can be shown the routine if you'd like to manage it between visits.
